An ongoing outage on Wednesday has resulted in Apple Wallet rejecting Mastercard enrollments for a portion of users.
Beginning around 6:54 am ET on Wednesday, Apple's System Status page reported that an issue has occurred for some users trying to set up new Mastercard payment options for Apple Pay.While the initial error was resolved at 4:23 pm ET, another of the same nature emerged at 5:10 pm ET. It is not known if Apple Card, which is also powered by Mastercard technology, is similarly affected.
