Lisa Jackson, Apple's vice president of environment, policy, and social initiatives, has been named to the New Jersey Council on the Green Economy, where she will work with other members to support the state's clean energy and climate goals.
New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy announced the appointment on Wednesday, saying the group will "build a roadmap for transitioning the workforce into high-quality, family-sustaining clean energy jobs."The state's first lady, Tammy Murphy, will serve as honorary chair alongside representatives of various state departments and leaders of chambers of commerce, organized labor, industry, utilities, green business, environmental justice communities, academia, small business, workforce development, and environmental advocacy.
